i heard about the law in congress right now that makes it so that when you are caught carrying a concealed pistol in a non-ccw state all you need to do is pay a couple of fines and show that you've been doing it for a while. after that they let you carry FOREVER! your kids too!

i recently found an mp3 that my brother and i had heard long ago when we were in new jersey for a brief stint. i had NO idea who did this track (i always have a hard time referring to some things as 'songs') and because i found it on the internet...i guess i STILL don't know for sure who did it...but it was about dr. who and had a drum machine and it was categorized in a hilarious manner by our cousin. good stuff.

it got me thinking though about dr. who and other crappy zero-funding shows that were forced to do things in a creative manner because of no money. i'd kind of like to see that show again now that i'm not as young and easily terrified.

YES, I SAID IT

i was scared of that damned show
it was british, for starters, which is spooky in itself
but those daleks were one of my first experiences with an absolutely crushing and uncaring enemy. it was horrible.

so i guess i want to see it again

just how lazy can one get?

my mouse here at work does not have a wheel (no superbook bionic mouse jokes, please) so i have to either left-click on the scroll bar or hit the "End" key on the keyboard.

clicking on the scroll bar is irritating (seeing as how i can miss sometimes and i always have at least 13 windows open at a time) so i've been useing the end key to get to the bottom. problem is the end key is on the right hand side of the keyboard...the same side my mouse is on. this means i have to let go of the mouse and move my WHOLE HAND over to the end key.

I ACTUALLY CAUGHT MYSELF TRYING TO PRESS THE 'END' KEY BY LEFT-CLICKING IT WITH THE MOUSE

HAVE I BECOME ONE WITH THE BORG?
SHOULD I BE EXPECTING A CALL FROM WINTERMUTE?
DID PART OF MY BRAIN FALL OUT THIS MORNING IN THE -13 DEGREE WEATHER?

1. i have yet to think of a FUNNIER word in the english language than the word "Goat" when explaining which letter you just said over the phone. the tone of voice and accent only makes it even more hilarious. there is some debate about whether or not "Goats" is funnier...but that's semantics that can be debated over an egg white omelette.

i plan on doing two specific things this weekend:

1. seeing DOOM on friday - post if you want to go with me.

2. shooting on saturday - i'm almost certainly going to be teaching a coworker from my last job how to shoot (his name is Mark). post if you want to go with us.
